NEWS
NEW WALK! On Sunday 21 March at 10.00 there will be a walk at Norley starting from SJ540687 CP off road bet Hatchmere and Delamere Statio. (in programme for 10 January)

More Volunteer Footpath Inspectors Needed!
We are looking for a few more volunteers from among our membership to help in completing a survey of all the footpaths, bridleways and other public rights of way available to walkers in the North & Mid-Cheshire Area.

The response to date has been tremendous but there are still some areas to be surveyed. So we are seeking further volunteers to choose a section, walk the rights of way shown on the map and report on any problems found.

If you can spare a little time to help with this survey, or for more information, please click on this link: Rights of Way Survey

Praise Indeed!
'Jean and I took part in the Arnside walk, led by John Bent, on Saturday. We wanted you to know that we had a brilliant day, learning so much from John about the local woodland and of course the snowdrops, which were a delight to see. Beautiful weather, super views and very good company made this a day to remember, thanks very much to all concerned and especially John for leading the walk.'
Ian & Jean Wales (from the Saddleworth area and staying in Lancaster for the weekend)
