Warrington Ramblers coach
The Sunday Coach
runs every two weeks, and provides a great opportunity to get out and about in the North West region for a full day's walking - and someone else does the driving! There are 4 grades of walk offered, led by experienced volunteer leaders, and range between challenging walks of up to 16 miles and shorter, more leisurely walks of around 6 - 8 miles. We have pick up at points throughout Warrington. You will need appropriate walking boots or shoes and wet weather gear - as well as a rucksack and packed lunch.
Our group is friendly and welcoming, and we would love to welcome new members. Non-members are welcome to come along and try it out before joining. Our full coach programme is shown below.
If you would like to try a Sunday trip, you will need to book in advance. Our Coach Booking Number is 07756 865385.
The booking line is only open and acknowledged from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays
. You can phone or text but voicemails are not accepted. First time coach users will always need to call the booking line so that appropriate information can be given. On-line booking
for Google users is available on the web-site via the Warrington Coach Page. Up to three walks can be booked at a time. On-line payment instructions will be given on acknowledgement of the booking. Please note that the booking is only definite when a confirmation email is sent to you.
Price and Payment Arrangements
If you book a place on the coach and pay in advance (before 7pm on the Tuesday preceding the Sunday walk)
the cost of the trip is £11 per person
If you have not booked and paid by the end of Tuesday, you are welcome to book, travel and then pay on the coach, if places are available, but the cost rises to £14 per person
