Padgate Pick Up Point
Please note that due to the ongoing roadworks on Birchwood Way, the Padgate pickup point will change to Padgate Community Centre on Station Road for the forseeable future. This will be the pick up point for both the outward and return journeys for Padgate, and there will be no other stops en route (for Padgate pick ups).

About Our Group
The Warrington Group is part of the wider North and Mid Cheshire Area, and we are therefore able to share an extensive programme of local walks with other groups in the area. These take place both during the week and at the weekend, and range from half day to full day walks for varying degrees of ability. Details of the full programme of walks can be found on the North and Mid Cheshire Website.
We also offer fortnightly Sunday coach walks throughout the year allowing us to visit a wide range of venues including the Lake District, North Yorkshire, the Peak District and Wales. Please see below.
Sunday Coach Walks
The Sunday coach picks up at various points between Stockton Heath and Culcheth. Each trip offers 4 grades of walk led by experienced leaders ranging from easier (6 - 8 miles) to challenging walks of up to 16 miles. You will require appropriate walking boots (with grip) and wet weather gear, along with a rucksack to carry a packed lunch and drinks.
The group is very friendly and we are always happy to welcome new members. Non members are also welcome to come along and try a couple of walks before joining.
Please check the Warrington Coach Page to see the full coach programme, how to book, the cost and pick up points and times.
Our next coach is to Ramsbottom on 3 February

A short journey to the Pennine landscape surrounding the historic Victorian industrial town on the River Irwell. Surrounded by moorland and hills there is a wide variety of walks available, together with an exploration of the Irwell valley. From the hills, extensive views show off the Lancashire landscape at its best. At the end of the walks there should be time to visit the East Lancashire steam railway, as well as finding refreshments in the cafes and pubs. We look forward to seeing you on 3 February.
